Style and Character
The Gran Hotel Miramar has been at the center of glamour since its opening in 1926 by Alfonso XIII under the name “Hotel Principe de Asturias”. The hotel’s Art Deco style, designed by the architect Fernando Guerrero Strachan, evokes old-world grandeur that makes one feel like royalty.
Extravagant, bold, and borderline-theatrical, opulence is deeply incorporated in the hotel’s design scheme. Classical yet contemporary, Gran Hotel Miramar represents an eclectic mix of Andalusian decor, Neo-Arab style, and modern luxury accommodation. The remarkable guest room design was created by designer Aneta Mitjanovic, together with Rosa Escribano and Jose Segui.
The vast central atrium features a glass ceiling and at the roof, guests can sway in the Ibiza-style bar.
Service
Gran Hotel Miramar enhances the guests’ experience on every possible level with its well-mannered, multilingual, and attentive service. Private butler service is also available if you want to make your stay even more comfortable.

If you’re up for something more energetic, head over to the gym or rent a bike and explore the vibrant promenade. The Botanic Spa combines the Moorish tradition with the use of natural products by the world-class skincare brand Sisley to give guests the chance to experience true rejuvenation and relaxation.
Rooms
All 200 rooms at the hotel are equipped to suit your comfort. Every floor has a different design with themes such as Arabic, Nasrid, Mediterranean, and Andalusian decor. The white and blue tones blend perfectly with the panoramic views while the Moorish detail breaths warmth into each room.
