LikedWell maintained, super friendly and helpful staff. Room was always well stocked with towels and cleaned. Nicola does a great job by the pool keeping everyone happy with towels, food and drinks. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and the bartender was always smiling and talkative. D Richard’s steakhouse was great - Steak Diane and Filet were both excellent. Sol de Mar had good Mediterranean style food with a relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I ate here on a few occasions- pasta with lobster, veal scallopini both great choices. Close location to a number of off property restaurants that are excellent.
DislikedThe pads on the loungers are very old, worn thin and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Chef’s Table wasn’t good- we ate only one dinner there and the lobster cake and fish were dried out. The pasta dish with Shrimp had the full shell on the shrimp still making eating very messy. Lobster Fest on the beach was disappointing. The lobster was dried out as it had been sitting under lamps for some time. We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time to finally get a table after speaking with the manager in charge. Very unorganized.

LikedThanks to the wonderful and warm staff at Aurora I had the absolute best time with my husband for my 36th birthday! They gave me balloons, cake and such a beautiful room!! You will not regret booking here!!!

“Luxury at it's best”
LikedThe resort smelled incredibly wonderful as you walked in. Going into the room is what blew my mind. It was the small touches that made my stay enjoyable. I traveled with my family including my 2-year-old toddler. Not only was there a robe for his size but children-friendly toothpaste, a natural bamboo toothbrush, and natural bath soaps. Additionally, on the crisp made-up beds, there was a dolphin souvenir for him. I can appreciate a resort that takes the small things into consideration
DislikedI have one con but not of the hotel itself. Sometimes the front staff seemed to only cater to certain people. It was blatant especially while we were standing there waiting on the same things. I understand it's a luxury resort but we paid money to stay there too.

LikedThe staff were friendly and attentive, the ocean view room was amazing and the restaurants were amazing especially the steakhouse on site. I can’t wait to return. The water park and pools were perfection.
