LikedLocation right on the beach, modern suites, amazing food across all restaurants, and very attentive and friendly staff that always went above and beyond. It was extremely baby friendly while feeling more upscale than a typical family oriented hotel.
DislikedNothing - we would absolutely recommend this place
LikedLocation is perfect, about 40 minutes from St John's. Recommend renting a car vs a taxi, if you like to have freedom to leave the hotel. The staff was wonderful, attentive and genuine. They were very helpful in assisting us with reservations off-site, booking hikes with a guide and overall. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food at all of the places we ate at.
DislikedI think the price is a little on the high side. Some of the pricing at the hotel was also higher than expected, compared to more local spots. Yes, this is normal, but it was 20% higher than expected. For example, sunscreen was $30 USD when at another hotel the same was $16. The all-inclusive option is worth considering if you plan on eating and drinking a lot.

DislikedFound the food expensive and did not like additional nefarious fees with the charges. So many charges. Also the waitress uniforms looked very hot and outdated. Although everyone was extremely nice.
LikedVery peaceful location with beautiful beach and surrounds. Very comfortable room, stylishly done up with excellent facilities eg kettle and fridge and very good coffee machine. Beautiful swimming pool. Good sized gym.

LikedIt is so rare to have what amounts to a single boutique hotel on a huge beautiful gently sloping beach. The space and privacy is beyond price. The rooms are lovely and spacious with sea views, big beds, and fabulous coffee machines. The staff are absolutely wonderful - professional but warm and friendly, and they give the place a luxurious homely feeling. A good selection of restaurants and Bradley is raising the food game even further. The dive shop is great and excellent snorkelling in the bay. It’s the most relaxing place I know. This was my 4th visit in a few years

DislikedRestaurants are too expensive for the quality they deliver. Breakfast could have more variety at the buffet and fast service for the dishes. In general I think two thirds of the price would be the more adequat value for money.
