“Central location with a warm friendly vibe.”

LikedIt feels more like an apartment building than a hotel. Reception is incorporated behind the bar/dining area. The restoration of the old building has been done sympathetically.

DislikedThis hotel is located near a fire station, so there are a lot of sirens during the day and night.

“Surprisingly charming place to stay in Sydney”

LikedThe staff were nice and helpful. The facilities were a modern touch to an old historic facade that suited the character of the building. The room was well planned and designed. The restaurants and cafe within the Port House Hotel were delightful.

“Perfect location, very comfortable, slept well”

LikedThe wheelchair access and facilities were excellent The bathroom is very well designed for less mobile people. My companion uses a walker and found it very easy to move around the room and the bathroom. We stayed in room 103.

DislikedThis is a small problem and I am nit picking, but it would have been nice if the TV swung all the way around the corner so both occupants could watch TV in bed. Or it might have been we didn't move it properly.

LikedI did not have time for the breakfast but the hotel was amazing! The combination of the renovation of the historic building with a thoroughly modern luxury hotel.

DislikedSome features were not open.
