LikedI was concerned about the sargassum on the beaches, but the staff kept them raked and clean making swimming and lounging enjoyable. I had sprained my ankle and a bandage was brought to my villa then I was checked on by the wonderful lady at the front desk (sorry I don't remember her name). All the staff was helpful and friendly making our stay very enjoyable.

DislikedThe restaurant help was very subpar, which is why after that first night I never ate there again. Staff was more attentive at other resorts.

LikedOne of my best vacations ! The villas were extremely beautiful with the view of the entire resort . Kid pool and adult pool right next to the restaurant. Resort was huge I didn’t get to explore everything.
LikedEven though it was the rainy season, I had a great time. I enjoyed the pool, walking along the beach collecting seashells with sea creatures in them, all of the food at Rhum Shack tasted so good and they have a lot of mocktails to enjoy. I recommend the Cucumber Lemonade. The staff overall, waking up to ocean sea and sky views, the different birds, iguanas and wish willy. I missed the karaoke show but made it to the Garifuna drum and dance show. The resort was such an experience, and I look forward to returning.
DislikedThe mosquitos and no-see-ums. Not matter how much mosquito repellant, insect repellant or spray I used, it didn't stop me from being bit by mosquitos over 20 times. Leaving. Would love to have stayed longer. Very sad to go.
LikedThe staff was outstanding and sincerely friendly. We were on a first name basis with all of them. The food was amazing, and the entire facility was pristine. The resort arranged several wonderful tours for us.
LikedWe loved riding bikes each day to the surrounding areas. Food was fantastic! What an incredible area with great people.
