LikedThe property is a wonderful boutique hotel located in the heart of Santa Teresa . The beds are comfortable and there is a lot of thought and intention behind the design of the casa. The staff was extremely wonderful. Astrid was welcoming and always going out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Claudio was always checking in on us and helping answer our myriad questions and giving us the best recommendations on where to go. The breakfast at the hotel was great too- they provided us fresh fruit, smoothies and homemade pastries. Would highly recommend staying here
LikedSanta Maria was our favourite area of the city. The facilities are beautiful, set in lush hillside gardens with flowers, hummingbirds, monkeys. The breakfast offered was without exaggeration, marvellous. It's a wonderful oasis in the city.
DislikedWe had no issue with this, but travellers should be aware that there are a lot of stairs to climb.
LikedIt’s an amazing experience: the place, the view, the house, the hosts. You feel like you are in a rainforest above the city, the view from the pool is breathtaking. Everything is very close: all the bars and restaurants are 10 min walking distance and the neighborhood is very safe. It’s a must try experience when you come to Rio.
