LikedThis hotel reminded us of a wonderful ski lodge in Bavaria. It was quaint, but not small. We even had a balcony with a snow-capped mountain view and a fireplace. The bed was as good or better we have ever experienced at expensive hotels, in the US or in Europe. The chef's meals were fabulous. As a comparison, we reserved dinner at a very famous large and expensive hotel that gets most of the attention in this location. There was no comparison - the Post easily wins. The breakfast buffet, while a tad expensive, was worth the price. And parking was free at the Post. The staff was absolutely great. It snowed one evening while we were there. As we rushed out to meet our reservation at the gondola ride, thinking we would have to clean the car of snow, we found a young gentleman doing that work for us! We do not hesitate in recommending this wonderful hotel.

“Best hotel in Lake Louise!”
LikedWe stayed at the Post Hotel ten years ago and absolutely loved it. We came back two weeks ago to celebrate a birthday with friends and had a wonderful meal at the restaurant. Wished we could have stayed longer. The personnel at the hotel is so friendly, helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend it and will come back.
“Cozy, elegant and relaxing”
LikedThe hotel was great. Arrived on a snowy night and it was magical pulling up to the hotel. Paths cut in the deep snow through the property almost like a maze. The staff was great. The breakfast was great. We enjoyed the causal pub restaurant. Super relaxing to sit in the lounge and listen to the piano.
DislikedMore shuttles in the morning to the ski area. The big free bus to go up is very close and worked out well when we didn't get on the shuttle we wanted.
