LikedThis is a beautifully restored mansion, holding the restaurant and bar which is attached to a brand new, high tech, 9 story hotel. The rooms are amazing, full of automated curtains, blinds, Japanese toilets and rain showers.
DislikedThe bar is stunning, but small so can be hard to get into.
LikedBeautiful property with very aesthetically pleasing rooms - way more spacious than typical of a higher scale suite.

DislikedThe only negative thing we can say is that we felt a little misled from pictures. The pictures we saw of the hotel made us think that our room would be in the old classic part of your building. We were unaware that all rooms were in the modern building behind.
LikedWe travel extensively. I have never stayed in a more beautiful hotel. The historic building has absolutely amazing woodworking and stained glass. I can’t say enough good things about the hotel.

LikedThe location was convenient for us for getting around by taxi . Hotel staff very obliging and helpful in arranging transportation. We loved the aesthetics of the building’s contrasting architecture….the original mansion, as compared to the new tower. Appreciated being able to tour the original house and admire the stunning craftsmanship of former generations.
DislikedThere were no negatives, and the next time we visit, the construction will likely be completed, so we can view the remainder of the front of the hotel.
LikedLocation was amazing! In the heart of Montreal, you can walk everywhere. Lots of great restaurants and shopping nearby. I LOVED Bar George in the hotel. It’s gorgeous and the cocktails are amazing.
LikedI have stayed at hotels from this hotel group before. I will stay again. Very quiet and restaurant is excellent.
DislikedThe self rising toilet seat. Too sensitive.
