“The Gem of Costa Rica”
LikedMy stay was absolutely stunning, with spectacular views of the ocean and sunsets. I especially loved the small island across from us, which I named Crocodile Island because it’s shaped just like a crocodile. The landscape, the rooms, the restaurants, and the staff-everything was top-notch. Special shout out to Wilson, thank you for all your assistance. Every moment of my stay was memorable. I highly recommend visiting during the off-season when it’s quieter, less crowded, and more peaceful. The highlight for me was experiencing their incredible rain showers during a thunderstorm—it felt magical, almost like a Divine Sky Symphony with lightning and thunder. Truly an unforgettable experience!
DislikedFor seniors with bad knees and kids with strollers hard to get around because there are lots of stairs to the beach. But they have lots of pools on property.

LikedThe Ritz-Carlton Reserve is a perfect place to relax, lie down, and take great photos. The service is impeccable. From the moment you book, a hotel butler contacts you to arrange pick-up and drop-off, and also inquires about celebrations in advance, helping with restaurant and spa reservations. Upon arrival at the hotel, the butler escorts you to check-in, offers a welcome drink and towels, and personally shows you around the entire hotel. A birthday cake and card are also provided in your room. The butler and staff are always very welcoming and provide exceptional service.
