LikedThe room was large, very comfortable and tastefully done with a beautiful view over the pool and grounds. We were in the “historic” section above the restaurant. Wonderful breakfast served in a sunroom attached to the restaurant was tasty and ample. Service was top notch. The bathroom was large and well modernized. Would definitely return.

DislikedRooms (even Room 2, used by Queen Elizabeth) have a slightly disappointing decor for this price . A bit bland. I was expecting older, stylish furniture and decorations. Interior colors could be more joyful, while still respecting the time period of the building and the local, rocky Provençal environment. A great stay anyway.
LikedIt is one of the most unique properties. Les Baux is a special place with medieval ruins perched high up on a hill and the hotel is very luxurious with past guests including Queen Elizabeth and Mick Jagger. Need I say more . This is a must stay!

LikedThe gardens, the accommodations, the pool at L’Ousteau The lunch there the service was absolutely wonderful the staff were superb and friendly and accommodating We had shuttles in to various villages and Arles We did not wait a second and never late picking us up from the various venues The food in Cabro d’Or was wonderful and service impeccable We also availed of room service and drinks and again were delighted with the service and food I have rarely been so content in a hotel
DislikedThe weather it was awfully hot The air conditioning was wonderful There were some wasps at breakfast which were disconcerting
