“Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Munich”
LikedThis is a genuine boutique hotel - I love the thoughtful touches that create tranquility such as the quality music speakers, the bath salts, the fresh flowers and the cover for the television that hides the screen. I stayed here 15 years ago and it was my first choice in Munich when I came back. The hotel remains every bit as good as I remembered!
DislikedA small kettle for making tea would be lovely, although the bar staff did give me a jug of hot water.

LikedThe service provided by all staff…reception, bell service, restaurant, etc was good. They were always smiling and responsive.
DislikedThe room can be made brighter. And, the shower screen needs to be enlarged to avoid water splashing from shower.

LikedI stay in hotels quite often. It does not often happen that I am truly amazed by a hotel. Our stay at the Cortiina (mind the two "i"s) was a truly amazing experience. It started straight from the beginning: at check in the staff noticed that it was my birthday that day, and they went out of their way to make me feel special for that. But that was just one of the many experiences we had with all of the staff that made us feel at home, not just in a hotel. Special mention is also the location: right in the heart of Old town Munich.
DislikedThe only thing we did not like was leaving the place.
