LikedFrom my personal perspective, Mandarin Oriental Munich is by far the best hotel in the city. This is my fourth stay here, and each time it convinces me even more that it is the perfect choice—it has never disappointed me. The hotel truly values returning guests and shows genuine appreciation for loyalty. The location is excellent, and the staff are absolutely outstanding. Without a doubt, it will remain my only choice whenever I visit this beautiful city.

LikedThe hotel staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were well appointed and very clean. The location is in the heart of the old city so great for exploring if you are a first time visitor to Munich like we were.

DislikedThe service at the signature Japanese restaurant was poor. No atmosphere, no engagement with customers, some also hotel guests. Like so often, these days with staff, it becomes more about individuals completing their tasks/jobs with minimal etiquette and missing the big picture which is to give your customers a great experience so they return. The food was good but overpriced.

LikedThe staff was excellent. Raphaella, checking us in and Vincenzo and his Italian coworker at the front door were extremely helpful and solicitous.

DislikedSunday breakfast was fairly chaotic.
