“Gorgeous resort with luxurious potential, though overpriced on the essentials”
LikedThe room was great and well worth the price. The pools and sea views were stunning, and the infinity pool truly delivered on the infinity experience. Housekeeping was top-notch; the room was kept immaculately clean and well cared for. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Amar à la carte restaurant was a standout—the food, the vibe, the sea view, and the attentive staff made for truly wonderful evenings. The hotel’s landscaping and botanical gardens are gorgeous. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, with a huge, delicious variety. Across the board, the staff was consistently attentive, giving a true sense of luxury, and ordering via the web app made things very convenient.
DislikedDespite the mature, well-established infrastructure, the daily operations didn't always feel professional—more like an "all-exclusive" luxury concept than an all-inclusive one. The minibar was entirely paid, and they only provided one complimentary bottle of water per day, which the staff even explicitly pointed out during check-in. We ended up spending a significant amount of money just on water at €4 a bottle. Inside the room, towel hooks were lacking, and the layout/distance between the bathroom and toilet was ergonomically inconvenient. Finally, the spa was completely at an extra charge and very expensive; all the packages offered under their "longevity" concept felt heavily overpriced.
