LikedI would have to say of the three islands that we stayed at, in my opinion it has the best shower of three countries 😎 Restaurant was great we ate all meals there. Hotel is a little off the beaten path so it’s just convenient and super good. We did not feel like driving -having a car makes it very easy.
Likedlovely location , peace and quite , owners very friendly, staff personable
Dislikedno after sea swim shower
LikedRoom on the water Was great with fantastic views. Small boutique hotel with Personalized Service. Food great and the Bar moderately priced. Loved it
LikedRight on the beach. The restaurant overlooked the beach. The beach was clean. The staff was great. The food was excellent.
LikedWe ate all our meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at La Sagesse restaurant and could not have been more pleased with the freshness of the food, the generous quantities, and the lovely service. Owners Mike and Lynn are stellar. They included us in nightly gatherings with their friends and long-time repeat customers for cocktails and snacks before dinner which made us feel so included and welcomed.
DislikedThe only thing I would wish for is a small village with a cafe, perhaps a little market, and a few shops within a 15-20 minute walking distance of La Sagesse. No such little/town village exists. One needs a rental car or to hire a taxi to get around this VERY mountainous island.
LikedThe seclusion and quietness. You’re close to the beach listening to the never ending waves. Tranquil. The staff were friendly and attentive.
DislikedCan’t say I found anything negative.
LikedWe were lucky enough tip visit while the owners were on the premises. They are always present to making sure the guests attended to and that their staff is happy doing their jobs. It really shows that LaSagesse is the relaxing, comfortable place to vacation. The owners generally take a morning walk and are happy to include guests. We learned the history of the area and visited locations that we would never have found on our own. Finally, the food is generally simple and tasty. In my mind, that generally makes for a great meal. Breakfast lunch and dinner. You should especially try the catch of the day, always delicious 😋.
DislikedWe had a bit of rain, but that is what we get for going in November. Can't blame the hotel.
