LikedA really nice hotel both inside and outside. The staff are exceptional, very kind and alert and as such they should be very proud of themselves. I stayed for the week with my family and we were very well looked after. The facilities were excellent, with a pool, spa and gym which we utilised well, albeit smaller than others I have been was still a lovely addition. The breakfast was fantastic, with buffet and a la carte options, and a wide range from continental and Hungarian cuisines. We didn’t dine in the evening, but both on site restaurants looked fantastic and ideal if you wanted to. Finally the rooms were very comfortable, with the atrium rooms having a balcony that looked over the hotel interior. The housekeeping was exceptional, with the rooms always being returned to clean and comfortable.
DislikedUnfortunately there were a few issues with hot water the first 2 days of my stay. THIS WAS NOT THE FAULT OF THE HOTEL, but a municipal issue in that area. The hotel did advise we could use the neighbouring Marriott hotel spa facilities for showers etc. Some members of my party would have struggled with that, but we completely understood that this was out of the Hotel’s hands and they very kindly offered us breakfast on the house for 2 mornings. What I would advise the hotel is to make sure all communication is conveyed, both between departments and the customers. Some updates on the hot water would have been welcome, whether through signs in reception and the lift or even an email. In addition, the breakfast buffet was split into different areas in the restaurant, which would mean food could get cold when moving around to get things. THIS IS JUST POINTS TO IMPROVE and all in all the hotel is exceptional.
