Samode Palace

LikedThe Samode Palace exceeded our every expectation! Our family of four had a magnificent time enjoying the amenities and the quiet escape. The pools were gorgeous. We had so much fun exploring the various nooks and niches of the property. The rooms were spectacular. The service was some of the best I have ever experienced - everything was perfectly clean and organized, and the staff were always so helpful. The kids enjoyed the puppet show. Breakfast was outstanding! We will highly recommend to all our friends and colleagues.

DislikedThe hotel restaurant's dinner prices were quite high, and there aren't other local options.

LikedA very deluxe heritage property with beautiful grounds, Interesting history, and wonderful stuff.

LikedThis place was one of the highlights of our India journey, and it exceeded all expectations. It felt truly special, and we felt blessed to have experienced it. This stunning old palace brims with captivating history. The tour of the impeccably preserved private quarters offered a fascinating glimpse into the lives of the royalty who once resided here, providing ample opportunities for capturing beautiful memories. The dinner surpassed all expectations, and the restaurant staff were incredibly friendly. Overall, an exceptional experience that left a lasting impression.

DislikedOverall, our experience was wonderful, and we wouldn't hesitate to return. However, we did notice a few areas that could use some attention, particularly around the infinity pool, restaurant, and the first courtyard. Some maintenance and a fresh coat of paint would enhance the outdoor areas. Additionally, we encountered challenges with the reservation staff, as they were difficult to reach, and the response time on booking.com was slow or nonexistent, leading to unnecessary misunderstandings and frustration.

LikedFood is excellent. Rooms are beautiful with a scenic view. Service is quick and the staff is extremely polite

DislikedOnly that breakfast menu should have more food items. It’s limited and same everyday

LikedUnique palace lovey rooms and pool area. Good staff

DislikedThe restaurant is average and the pools water were too cold

LikedThe hotel/palace is incredible and awe inspiring. However it is the staff, food, restaurants that are absolutely beautiful and memorable.

LikedThe hotel was super lovely, we had a great room with amazing view. Service was exceptional.

LikedI last stayed at the Samode Palace over 20 years ago and it's just as magica nowl, if not more. The hotel has evolved with excellent rooms, beautiful restaurant and magical pools, the 'new' roof top infinity pool particularly great. Staff are very attentive. This is the real deal Palace hotel with exceptional Durbar Hall and other beautiful, original Palace rooms. Just amazing..!

DislikedThere really wasn't anything I didn't like - top notch.
