The Purist Villas & Spa Ubud

LikedIf you want to sight see don't stay here because you won't want to leave. This place is perfection and this is coming from a well travelled often family solo traveller. The staff, food and the best message I've ever had. I skipped a lot of sightseeing because why leave when you're in Paradise. My nephew ended up staying on his own for a couple of days and we are still talking about this place. Bali is a long way from home but I would want to go back to just stay at The Purist.

DislikedJust not there are two pools one buy the spa and one in front of the restaurant. If you want more privacy go to the spa pool.

LikedOverall design and sophisticated details every where, I loved it. Villas gerden and pool was very spacious not like recent developments in Bali done within 5 years. Restaurant was simple, but as it should be. I really enjoyed my stay here

DislikedIt needs a little maintenance every where. Looks like property is getting old and not much being done

LikedJust incredible beyond words. We stayed in the 2 room Joglo villa and did not want to leave. Woke up every morning to sit outside and listen to birdsong. Top notch breakfast and afternoon tea with bite size tasting menu. Easy access to Ubud and all the sights jn the area.

LikedAn absolute gem! Delightful staff, a surprisingly wonderful breakfast included, and a villa that was spacious, beautifully appointed and offered everything we were looking for in a getaway.

DislikedThe bathtub was huge, but the water cooled down quickly and so it was difficult to fill as much as we'd have liked.

LikedThis was such a perfect place to decompress on our last few days of our trip. The rooms are fantastic- beautiful, clean and with a fantastic bathroom. The pool is lovely and clean. The hotel itself is gorgeous/ feels like you are in the jungle when you are just a few minutes from the center of Ubud. Loved that they had a scheduled shuttle into town but you could also get a private car too . Breakfast and afternoon tea was wonderful- full service for breakfast

LikedThis is such a beautifully designed property. We absolutely loved our stay here. The food is phenomenal and the spa treatments are wonderful. The staff are so kind and helpful. Stay here, you won’t regret it!
