LikedA truly exceptional hotel with a unique and breathtaking design. The beautifully preserved Ottoman-era building gives the property a distinctive charm, while maintaining a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind, with stunning views overlooking Jaffa and the sea. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and offered a wide variety of options. The rooms were spotless, stylish, and very comfortable.

“Beautiful Hotel!”

LikedGorgeous hotel in a historic building (it used to be a Crusader Fortress that was later turned into an Ottoman jailhouse). Even though it's in the best location, there is so much to explore in the hotel itself that can keep you entertained for hours. I was upgraded to a Premium Plus room with a sea view and balcony. The room was exquisitely designed and very comfortable. There are 3 restaurants on site. Even though it wasn't open, the pool looked nice (a bit small though). Lovely spa as well. Really, you don't need to go outside at all.

DislikedThe pool was closed even though Booking said it was open. For a 5-star hotel, some of the services were sorely lacking. The bellboy at the entrance didn't ask if I needed help with my suitcases. The minibar was empty when I arrived. The phone didn't work when I tried to call reception. The toilet would run every time I flushed it. I ordered a creme brule in the lobby bar that arrived frozen. This was in the middle of a war and air raid sirens were going off every hour so I won't judge them too harshly, but some of these suggest ongoing maintenance and management problems. Having said that, every single thing I brought to their attention was dealt with immediately in a friendly and professional manner.

“Amazing, satisfying”

LikedWe had an amazing stay at The Setai Tel Aviv and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We booked three rooms, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The views were absolutely breathtaking—truly “wow” moments every time we looked out—and the location is unbeatable, perfectly set near Old Jaffa with easy access to everything. The service was exceptional. The manager personally showed us the rooms, which made us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for. The staff throughout the hotel were attentive, professional, and warm, always going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was another highlight—the buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options and a beautiful setting to start the day. Between the atmosphere, service, views, and overall luxury, The Setai exceeded our expectations. We truly had an unforgettable time and would absolutely return

DislikedThey could definitely do a better job with advertising, because this place is truly a hidden gem.

LikedThe hotel and staff were extremely nice and welcoming throughout our stay. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, accommodating, and eager to help, which really made a positive difference. While the property itself could use a major update and the rooms need some upkeep, the kindness and professionalism of the staff stood out. We especially appreciated their help with our booking and room arrangements
