Hotel Quisisana

LikedThe location in the center of Capri is ideal. Not sure you can book a hotel in a better spot on the island. The rooms are modern and the pool area is nice.

DislikedI expected more from a 5 star luxury hotel. We stayed at some of the other 5 star properties on the island in the past and I’d say this hotel does not meet their standard. They did not offer us transportation to and from the hotel on arrival and departure, like other hotels will do for you. There was no welcome drink upon arrival and they did not allow a late checkout. It felt like a big resort that is too big to manage all these things that you come to expect from a luxury 5 star property.

LikedI recently stayed 3nights at Hotel Quisisana. The hotel very kindly upgraded our room to a Junior suite on arrival, the suite was very spacious with two bathrooms and direct access to the pool & gardens. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the concierge arranging our seamless transfer on arrival & helping us to book excursions, to the superb breakfast buffet with stunning views and live music every morning, to the great location of the hotel - right in the heart of Capri amongst the designer boutiques. I highly recommend this hotel as the place to stay for a memorable trip in Capri. I will definitely be back !

DislikedIt is hard to find anything not to like, my only feedback is that there is no tea / coffee machine in the room.

LikedWe love the whole experience. Greta accommodation, social areas and, above all, excellent service and Staff. The front terrace is magical. Thank you Cristiano and Adalberto for making feel at home :) We will be back for sure!

LikedFantastic location and oozing with history. The staff are so helpful, attentive, warm and friendly. We received a generous upgraded room at check in and were also delivered a welcome gift of fruit and sweet and savoury snacks/treats brought to our room just after we arrived. Our room was so unbelievably comfortable, and maid service was perfection, always on hand to replenish toiletries, mini bar or assist to any request. We asked for plates to be cleared from our room on the first evening and when we returned, much later, our housemaid had performed a full bedtime turndown service for us, placing slippers at each side of the bed, drawing blinds, turning on bedside lamps and our bathroom was fully refreshed. Quisisana truly did welcome us and made us feel at home!! Breakfast was also amazing with a young violinist playing in the background! Excellent choices of foods at breakfast and a great variety of options.

DislikedThe building is very old and consequently some of the older plumbing and nearby flushing or running water noises that we could occasionally hear from other rooms, were a bit loud sometimes, but to be expected.
