LikedA very special unique property. Fabulous historic property / building. Outstanding staff. Very special breakfast. The kitchen was excellent. Highly recommend. Highly recommend dining in the properties 3 star Michelin restaurant in addition to their fabulous hotel kitchen.

LikedThe historical past of the building, the vicinity to places we wanted to go, the warm hospitality. We've been to Südtirol many times & can say this one is exceptional. Hope it remains like that! P. S. Forget to mention that we're the only guest for the night and it's a memorable experience. We also got a room upgrade, thank you!

LikedThe hotel is perfectly situated to explore South Tyrol, there is lots to see in all directions: lake Anthholzer to the north, lago di Braies and Tre Cime to the east, Puez Odle to the south, and Bolzano and Gilfenklamm to the west. We stayed for a week and still hadn't explored everything. The staff really make your stay feel special. The rooms themselves are great, very clean and comfortable, nice bathrooms with heated floors, fresh cookies every day, and cool mountain views. Breakfast is indeed exceptional, as well as dinner. You should try the tasting menu at least once, but perhaps it would be wise to skip lunch that day. Going to Atelier Moessmer was also spectacular, and the shuttle from and to the hotel were complimentary.
DislikedThere is no dinner on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but there is a grocery store across the road where you can get classics like mozzarella and prosciutto if you don't feel like going to a different restaurant.

DislikedThere is no elevator, but it’s a protected, historical structure so I understand.
LikedStaff were incredibly helpful, we had to get up early to leave and they came in to get us coffee and a full breakfast well before normal hours. They made us feel so special!
