Palazzo Portinari Salviati Residenza D'Epoca

LikedYou are staying in a part of history. Beautiful rooms. Fantastic location and most friendly and helpful staff. This was one of our honeymoon spots. I could not recommend this hotel enough

DislikedNothing honestly

LikedThe rooms, especially the historical suites, are absolutely stunning! The food in the restaurant was great, too. We appreciated the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. They provided us with complimentary room upgrades and a birthday cake, which we hadn’t even asked for. One of the best experiences we’ve ever had in a hotel, thanks to the care and hospitality of each employee.

DislikedThe WiFi connection was unstable and weak in the rooms.

LikedAbsolutely unforgettable stay! The service was impeccable - every staff member was attentive, kind, and made us feel truly special. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which is by far the most beautiful room I’ve ever seen - spacious, elegant, and breathtaking. As a surprise for my birthday, they even left a gorgeous bouquet in the room. Every detail was perfect. Highly recommend!

LikedExcellent location, beautiful decor which was apparently home to some of the Medici family! Lovely staff, great Michelin star restaurant. Absolutely super

DislikedLoved everything, perhaps the bread at breakfast can be more fresh but overall an excellent hotel

LikedThe property is absolutely stunning – a true Florentine palazzo with breathtaking historical interiors and modern comfort. The suite was spacious, elegant, and beautifully decorated, combining heritage with luxury. The location in the very heart of Florence is perfect, with everything just a short walk away, yet the hotel feels peaceful and exclusive. The staff were attentive, professional, and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was also excellent, served in a magnificent setting.

DislikedThere is nothing significant to mention – everything was beyond expectations.

LikedPerfect location, absolutely incredible building, beautiful room, very good food and excellent service

DislikedThe gym could have been a little larger

LikedAfter a mix up on our booked room we were given a palatial suite at a much reduced rate. Amazing by any measure we would know. Restaurant was first class with good breakfast in an opulent setting. It became our oasis in this busy city. We wanted over the top & we got that in spades.... DELIGHTFUL.

LikedExceptional service from Cara at the reception and Denis at the restaurant. Rooms are beautiful

DislikedThe main bar
