LUX* Belle Mare Resort & Villas

LikedSo TL;DR one if not the best accommodating resorts we have ever been in, with great food and even grater staff, a most stay if you are in Mauritius !!! So first things, first we were welcomed with a hot towel and 2 tropical drinks, and did our check ins. The rooms were huge with a large deck pointing to the beautiful garden, with a a delicious fruit basket. The resort offers a huge pool area, a well equipped gym, and even a yoga area, and also sea water activities all included (when it's not raining 😅) The resort also offers a pletera of activities including Volleyball, Arts, Billiards, Tennis, Pickle ball, Chess and also PS5. Special thanks to Jean Paul, Chef Nancy, and Head Barista Billal and Krissan for the incredible treatment during our Honeymoon, they made us feel special and like royalty, look no further and book this hotel we can't recommend this place enough.

LikedNice clean ling beach and the quietness of the hotel location

LikedThis hotel was fantastic! The staff were all friendly and housekeeping was great, we loved the kids club and the glass bottom boat ride! The breakfasts were great as well.

DislikedWe didn’t realize when we booked but this hotel was quite far from all the major tourist spots so if you are not looking to stay in the hotel it is better to find something in the west side!

LikedWe had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel was very clean. The food was also excellent, with a wide variety of options available every day, and everything we tried was very delicious. The staff were amazing – everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Special thanks to Rati, Nitin and Shikha, they were the best! The beach and the sea were absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

DislikedThere are some ventilation issues in the bathroom that should be addressed. We experienced unpleasant odors coming from the toilet during our stay. Also, while the dinner buffet offered a great variety of dishes, the meat dishes were never served hot. The hotel should improve the food warming system to ensure meals are kept at an appropriate temperature.

LikedThis was the most beautiful resort we’ve ever stayed at. Everything was perfect right down to the bar of soap in the shower
