“Amazing and would stay again.”

DislikedWe had one server who helped us twice in which it kind of felt like he forgot about us after he gave us our food. On one occasion he forgot to put in one of our orders we waited for about 20mins after receiving our first entree.

LikedThe staff were the highlight. So professional, warm and helpful. From check in where they upgraded us and let us have early check in to meals and poolside. The food was the other highlight - every meal was a treat and surprise. The only slight disappointment was the Rooftop food but after Manta (excellent) and the Ledge (so good) that isn't a shock. The churros were a delight and the fresh salads and poke bowls were amazing. The view is stunning, especially at sunset and we could watch the surfers for hours. The only thing that truly was out of character with the rest of the hotel was a strong bad smell as you walked to our room (712) and when we used the tap or shower or flushed the toilet.
LikedThe Thompson was amazing. From the moment we arrived until our final day we enjoyed every moment at this lovely resort. The staff, food, and rooms were all to our liking. We already started thinking about our return trip someday. Thank you again for everything, very special Birthday trip!
