LikedThe service was incredible and the hotel staff are extremely nice and attentive . The rooms were spotless and we loved the shower! The view was really nice from our room as well , loved waking up there every morning
DislikedBreakfast was delicious but pricey ! Not a real con but could be surprising for some people
LikedNice room and amenities. Beautiful building. Very lovely staff. Well-located.
DislikedVERY loud. I booked a weekend stay and on Fri and Sat night there was some kind of event on the roof playing extremely loud, thumping club music until late that I could easily hear in my room. The staff was apologetic and moved me to a quieter room for the rest of my stay but this was not what I expected.
LikedI loved the location of the hotel on a corner, leafy street, near great restaurants, and walking distance to many sites.
DislikedThe doors are thin and any hallway noise—people talking—is heard clearly. Plus, one night there was extremely loud music and big banging, like someone was moving furniture, from upstairs on the rooftop.
LikedReally amazing elements packed into a beautifully boutique hotel. Multiple delicious and aesthetically stunning restaurants are located within the hotel itself, including a great rooftop deck and bar, 24 hour room service, the PERFECT location for walking around town (just a few minutes walk to Contramar - a CDMX must-try seafood restaurant), and exceptionally helpful/kind staff -- what more could you ask for. Also very reasonably priced when we went. A MUCH better alternative to the Ritz or Sofitel which felt very generic and Americanized. Also those were in a not as interesting part of town in my opinion. Casona is walking distance to those hotels/park/museums, while also feeling authentic and closer to the culture/people/cool restaurants.
DislikedThe room was a little small for two -- bare minimum in terms of space (SF, closet, etc.), but that being said it was very nicely decorated. The hotel is also like a big house, so in terms of noise you can kind of hear everything. It didn't really bother us but it doesn't feel quite as private in your rooms as a result.
LikedVery nice hotel, perfect location. Wonderful staff
DislikedMainly good :)
