LikedEverything about the property was great. Jorge, one of the restaurant staff - went out of his way to meet all our expectations. He arranged to have our dinner a bit earlier on New Years Eve; he gave us suggestions about they kinds of food we should look for downtown and the price we should pay for taxi's - everything. The property was spotless. The pool was small but warm and nicely situated. There are only 8 rooms and it just felt uncrowded and homey.

DislikedIts a long way from the center of the city, but we knew that going in. There was also a slight "on again off again" odor in the bathroom that the staff tried to mitigate.

LikedThis is the definition of boutique. Very small property allowing for very personal service. Luxurious and relaxing.

DislikedAbout a 15-20min drive away from the main part of Oaxaca City so plan accordingly.

LikedHotel Casa Santo Origen is a beautifully designed hotel in a perfect setting with views over the valleys and across the mountains . A perfect place to relax and with easy access into the town of Oaxaca, although you will need to be driven there. Every one of the staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating and they made our stay a real pleasure. Our room was stunning and beautifully appointed .

LikedThis is an absolutely elegant hotel set on the hills of Oaxaca. The attention to detail is extraordinary. The Mediterranean-Mexican restaurant serves delicious food and the staff are highly attentive.
