“Charming, amazing experience”

LikedGorgeous hotel. We were at the Parque location. Our rooms were large and and beautiful. The hotel was so charming. We loved the mojigangas in the restaurant area. Excellent wifi and TV channels. Huge bathroom with a copper tub. Lovely cactus garden. Simple but perfect breakfast. So delicious. Really, everything was amazing.

DislikedMosquitos in the room. But that was true at our other hotels in the area as well.

“We loved our stay and couldn't imagine a better hotel in SMA. We highly recommend it!”

LikedThe hotel is expensive, but it was absolutely worth it. The property is incredible, the food was amazing, the location perfect and the staff was wonderful. We didn't want to leave. We highly recommend this resort.

LikedThe service was outstanding in all the restaurants. We enjoyed the pool area, so beautiful and peaceful and watching the view of the cathedral and sunset from the rooftop bar was priceless.

“evryone should stay here at least once and if you cansplash out and go for their top 2 suites”

Likedthis is a tourist city so busy but once you enter into the cooling atmosphere of this beautiful hotel in a wonderful City all the burdens of daily life fall away. Admittedly we had the best suite with roof top terrace overlooking the town and church but it was worth every penny. Not cheap but one doesn't mind when the place is uniquely faultless almost. Will definitely return whenever I wish to recharge the batteries.

“We were upgraded to a suite which was fantastic and the whole property was lovely.”

LikedBeautiful property comprising several former houses and a finca, in old Spanish colonial style. Fantastic barman in the Blue Bar, all the staff very friendly.

DislikedInitially they took USD 2,595 as a deposit against spend at the property (rather than just an authorisation) which we queried. It was refunded without quibble but wasn’t the best way to start our stay. Food was very good but unfortunately the hot dish at breakfast was served before we’d finished the first (one day we’d barely started it) and at dinner the main came literally as soon as the starter plates had been cleared. A small point but one that particularly ruins a meal for me (yes, I’m a diva when it comes to food and how it’s served) but a hotel of this calibre should know better. We were also advised to book the restaurant and the Tunki bar as “it gets very busy” or “it’s very busy tonight”, however this was clearly under instruction from management as there was only one other table occupied in the restaurant and at one point only one other person in the bar (the other 6 guests leaving while we were there). We brought this up at the time and were told it was indeed under instruction from F&B management. Not appreciated….
