“Gorgeous location so you can truly touch the beauty of Nature.”

LikedGorgeous property in a quiet relaxed area of the Riviera Maya. There are many different experiences within the resort itself so you can feel relaxed and busy over various days without leaving the premises.

DislikedWe stayed in a large suite which was pretty and elegant but the Aircon didn’t work for such a large room so in this hot summer month it was simply too warm at night. The bathroom didn’t even have a fan and so it was u comfortable to shower etc in the jest of the bathroom area.

“Beautiful property in jungle near Cenote and wondrous underground, rivers and caves”

LikedSecluded quiet in nature. Love biking around in the beautiful surroundings. Restaurants, staff and food were amazing and very accommodating for healthy eaters.

DislikedI love this place. It was exactly what I was looking for seclusion and comfort.

“Just an Amazing Experience, Stay and Value”

LikedCant say enough good things about this place. AMAZING property with lots to explore and trails with multiple cenotes, wildlife. Extremely relaxing and wellness type place. The restaurant was great as well, get the Catch of the day if you go. Trust me. Shout out to the Yoga instructors and David the underground cave diving guide! Really sealed the deal on the 5 stars

DislikedWould have liked to stay one more day at least to explore more of the property

“One of the best properties that I have stayed at. A home away from home in the most beautiful estate. We enjoyed every…”

LikedWe had the best time here. The property is gorgeous. From the rooms to the facilities and the tours, everything was well taken care of. Lovely spacious rooms designed tastefully. The staff are very friendly and passionate about working here. Enjoyed the free tours that are available especially the underground river. A calm and peaceful retreat.

DislikedWe stayed for 3 days and the vegetation options during our meals can get a bit boring after a while. Maybe a special option can be added on a day to day basis to keep it less monotonous.

“Jungle oasis”

LikedEverything was amazing. It feels like the owners care about the details and making your stay as comfortable as possible. The territory was huge, there were multiple cenotes, underground river, a beautiful lagoon, 3 pools, and more. There's lots of things to do that are included in your stay, like kayaks/paddle boards, bike tours, underground river tour and daily yoga classes. The tour guide Gonzalo was amazing, he was very passionate about the tours, and went above and beyond in making sure everyone was comfortable and had a great time during the experiences. The food in the restaurant was really good, and the staff very nice and helpful. There's plenty to do on the premises, but the location is also close to many of Tulum's white sand beaches.

“A wonderful experience. Highly recommend it. Will try to come back once a year. Each bungalow is beautifully…”

LikedEverything! It’s a beautiful property with all of the amenities and a great chef. There is so much to see and do on site. Great for families/weddings/retreats. A special thank you to the staff who are wonderful & amazing. They carry the heart of the Yucatan and that is exactly what you get when you stay with them.

DislikedCould improve on the sign at night - we arrived very late and the gps was not working properly. The front desk was very helpful when we called them. Great staff.

“Sublime honeymoon in idyllic resort”

LikedBreakfast was delicious and with great variety - the food overall was wonderful and the cocktails were delicious. We felt so looked after by the staff, who were all friendly and very responsive when we had queries. The setting is blissful - we felt quite secluded in the jungle and the facilities were top-notch. We loved the range of complimentary activities, particularly the cenote tour with Gonzalo, the on-site guide. He led us on an incredible tour of the underground river (cenote) right on the property. There are numerous different pools in lovely settings in addition to the gorgeous lagoon. The entire experience was wonderful, start to finish, and we will most definitely be back.

DislikedTaxis were expensive when it came to leaving the resort - this has nothing to do with the Wakax Hacienda but just be advised.
