Disliked- Didn't hoover main room floor daily - Room space slightly narrow - More clothes hooks for 2 people - Not enough storage

“Comfortable stay.”

LikedOnly hotel in Norway that I stayed at that had an in-room coffee maker. Able to adjust temperature. Shops were within walking distance.

DislikedI guess I like blankets better than duvets

“Nice place quiet neighborhood”

LikedHeated bathroom floor! Room was comfortable. Staff was lovely

DislikedAs an elder I found the light switches and having to use my phone for virtually everything from the menus to figuring out the lights with a QR code a bit daunting.

“My go to hotel in Oslo”

LikedI absolutely love this hotel. It has been my 3rd visit to Oslo and my 3rd stay here.

DislikedHowever, I really feel like I have to comment on something I experienced during breakfast time. There are 2 people that are removing plates from tables, even when the plates still have food on them. I was asked if they can take the plate away, while I still had food on it. If I leave the table to go get something else and I return, my plate could be gone because I wasn't at the table I guess? Then, I understand that breakfast time is until 11am on the weekends. However, I still had food on my plate at 11:10, and the staff member came and asked to take away my plate. And I said that I am still eating, to which they replied that breakfast is until 11am. Which is true, yes, but should I then leave my food in the plate? I don't remember this happening in my previous visits to this hotel, and also, I have never experienced anything similar in other 4 star or 5 star hotels. While the work they do in terms of removing plates from people who left is much appreciated, it is really frustrating as well that they keep running around you and you feel rushed to eat. Every time they pass me I am ready to defend my plate in case they ask to take it away :) This will probably remain my go-to hotel in Oslo. I just really hope that something will change with regards to this, what seems to be a hotel policy, that's described above.

“Good choice”

LikedBreakfast was really tasty and with a good variety of options 👍🏻 Clean room and friendly staff.

DislikedThe hotel doesn’t have its own parking area so the parking by the hotel costs money.

“Great Location, Breakfast and friendly staff.”

LikedI really enjoyed my stay at Radisson Red, Oslo. The Breakfast was probably the best that I've had at a hotel buffet. The Location is a bit far out from the centre but the train stop into the city centre is nearby. Also, there is a bus stop next to the hotel to travel to the Airport. There also shops and a nice bakery/ coffee shop within a few mins walking distance. All in all, really good service from everyone at the hotel, particularly Sundre who was very welcoming and offered good insights for places to visit in the city and I think is generally a cool guy.

DislikedBit far out of town maybe for some but it was perfect for me as I preferred staying in a quieter area after a busy day out in Oslo.

“A super hotel with (bonus) inspiring art ... we'll be back!”

LikedBreakfast was excellent: variety, quality, table service (for light fare) and clean. Staff (especially the desk staff) were super helpful which added much value to our stay in Oslo.

DislikedThere is nothing we disliked about the hotel. However, the location should be considered when selecting subsequent tours or flights.
