LikedQuite a unique hotel in the centre of Oslo, right by Frogner Park. Stylish, hip (but not too hip) friendly and comfortable with a spectacular spa and standout cocktail list. The live jazz and breakfast was the icing on the cake.
DislikedNothing. Practically perfect in every way to quote Mary Poppins. :-) Came highly recommended and did not disappoint.

LikedThe location and actual hotel itself, beautiful art deco style. The rooms were huge, it had every comfort and more. The bathroom was ok, did not love the style but it was spacious. Wardrobe space was great, tea/coffee and fridge was fine, they even had a steamer. The breakfast was superb.
DislikedThe aircon did not work well, either we were too hot or too cold. The children's playground next to our room nwas very loud, with lots of screaming kids, that was disturbing. They did not allow us to go see the roof top pool, which was a shame when its advertised in all the pics. The restaurants were booked up for private events on both nights, they should have informed us of this when we booked so we could not listed to jazz when we wanted to or eat at the japanese the night we wanted. The hotel itself was super expensive. The room itself was located very very far from the elevator, a bit ridiculous to walk 10 minutes to reach the room and then the water fountain to fill water was again so far away.

LikedThe breakfast was the best that we have ever had in any hotel any where. Just so comprehensive in offer, super fresh and held in the exceptional dining room. The team were just so helpful as well. The hotel is just beautiful, superbly located in the centre of Oslo with fantastic restaurants as well. The room was sumptuous with a fantastic bathroom and the room was well done with your bed turned down each evening with a snack as well. But best of all were the staff who just couldn't do more to help you and make the stay even more enjoyable. A huge shout out to Anabel, Fiona and Dora behind the bar. Rockstars and just so good at what they do.
