LikedWe loved the entire property and staff. We received wonderful service.
LikedThe breakfast was delicious and elegant. The staff members in the hotel is nice and I feel so welcomed while studying. Especially thanks Saul who taught me how to make Pisco, it was a great experience. Thanks Freddy and Jefferson who show me round the hotel and explain clearly about the history and amenity of the hotel. Jefferson also recommended me some places to visit and restaurants to dine in Cusco. All the staff are amazing, definitely best memories during me trip in Peru.
LikedBeautiful property- very well maintained. Beds were amazing, food was good
DislikedOnly thing that left me with huh? Was when checking out, a woman interrupted to store her bags. The man helping me, completely went off to help- not saying a word to me- finally, I just walked away- never got a receipt, thank you etc
LikedThere is very little I can critique about this hotel besides perhaps the cost. It is five star across the board. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The rooms were perfect...comfortable, fully stocked mini-bar (included in the stay!), clean and spacious. The hotel's restaurant is spectacular. Michelin star quality. Great location amongst shops and walking distance to the Plaza de Armas and the San Blas neighborhood. The 'sister' hotel that shares a wall (Monasterio) has a wonderful restaurant/opera show. I highly recommend it! I would absolutely come back.
DislikedThe room's thermostat wouldn't go any lower than 18C (~65F) and the comforter was VERY warm. I would have liked either a cooler comforter or the ability to make the room colder.
LikedIts really hard to pinpoint just a few things we loved. First, we were so pleased and impressed when our room was upgraded, although from my impressions, every room here is a suite. The room details (heated floors, flowers, bar, colorful Peruvian treats) The dining (think specialty coffee or fresh squeezed juice in the sunshine by the pool... and of course your seat will have a pillow and every condiment imaginable for your delicious food). The pool (warm crystal clear water, fresh towels and sunscreen rushed to you at a moments notice, and poolside cocktail service from the friendly bartender). This place is as good as it gets! Can't wait to come back!
LikedLocation is great. Staff and service are wonderful. Best we experienced during our stay in Peru. Fredy was always on point to provide help, nothing too small. Food was excellent
LikedEverything, I have not ever seen a hotel with that much attention to detail and such a great service. It’s extraordinary.
LikedThe hotel is beautiful. The charm of the old, with the comfort of the modern rooms. The concierge service was great for the tours and restaurants. Our driver during the transfers was great, as was our guide Hugo! We had an amazing time. The restaurant inside the hotel is great, as well as the one at Monastério (which is also a Belmond across the street). The complimentary mini bar is a great addition and we loved the small surprises/ beauty products in our room. You will see a lot of small details like covers on the water balls or small attentions during the turndown service.
