LikedEverything was renovated and beautiful, while still maintaining the original Cape look. Service was great and the breakfast was very good too. Everything was very clean.
DislikedOnly negative was that our room smelled like paint, only downside of freshly renovated rooms.

LikedWe were welcomed by super capable and friendly staff that was professional but in a very calm and soothing way. We felf special all the way! The facilities are modern, clean, and world class. Great food and wine. We had a special celebration and they gave us a complimentary room upgrade! Thank you Steenberg. We will see you many times more in the future.

LikedThe hotel is charming. Everything done in perfection, to make the guests feel good. It located in an amazing and beautiful farm close to Cape Town, with a golf club, a winey and two restaurants on site. The restaurants are both great, and their wine too.
DislikedOnly complain a have is that the room I got (the cheaper one) is a little simple, and the ceilings are small for tall people (I have 1,92m), so I think the room is a bit overpriced for what it delivers, although the hotel itself is amazing.
LikedEverything was incredible; from the minute we arrived our luggage was taken care of, the staff were super friendly and we really felt welcomed and taken care of. Everything you could want for your honeymoon and more. We wish we'd booked a few extra nights, it was a great place and we'll definitely be back.
DislikedThe only negative thing we have to say and it's probably not in the hotel's control, but we were woken up extremely early by the resident geese/ducks. They were so loud and right outside our window.
