DislikedNothing - everything was above and beyond our expectations!

LikedPros: Excellent location if you want to explore the northwest towns of Deia, Valldemossa, and Soller; tucked in the beautiful Tramuntana mountain range. Stunning property/grounds--like out of a fairy tale. Very friendly and courteous staff (special shoutout to Joanna & Sylvie in the front desk, Clara & Eva in El Olivo restaurant, and Toni, F&B director). Spacious bedroom: comfortable bed and pillows, 2 independent sink areas in the bathroom, plus shower and a bathtub, nice bath products, impeccable cleanliness, great A/C temperature, and a heated plunge pool. Outstanding food--particularly at El Olivo restaurant, but also the breakfast buffet and a-la-carte options. A plethora of incredible activities and amenities available. Complimentary valet parking.

DislikedCons: Not having had allotted enough time to enjoy a full leisurely day to enjoy all of the hotel amenities (e.g., the pools, the spa, the tennis courts, the shuttle to Cala Deia).

DislikedPool at the spa could be warmer

LikedThe location was breathtaking! Amazing services from the staff. Also the welcome Moet bottle and the Cava from the hotel was a warm touch. Thanks for making our honeymoon extra special. The El Olivo dining experience was great too, a bit pricey for the amount of food served nevertheless, it was something spectacular.

DislikedThe sauna wasn’t warm enough, and there was no stones in the heater.

LikedLa Resendcia is a very magical place. From the amenities, to the service and property, everything is perfect. I cried when we checked out because it was such a special trip. You won’t regret staying here.

LikedThe perfect 5 star hotel experience! We had a beautiful suite with separate living room and small plunge pool that had stunning views of the cliffs. The staff was exceptionally helpful with anything we needed both before our arrival and during our stay--booking dining reservations, a boat trip, suggesting local hikes, etc. The breakfast buffet was second to none and a cocktail (or two) at the terrace bar is a must! Live music every night we were there in September and nice little bar snacks offered with your drinks

DislikedEven though the breakfast was amazing, we found the food at the restaurants for lunch and dinner was only marginal and VERY expensive. I don't mind paying a premium at restaurants in hotels, but I expect that the food and service are commensurate with the prices and here we did not find that to be the case.
