LikedWe had such a great experience we made our way back for another weekend. The staff was amazing, they remembered us and treated us so well :) the place is amazing with the best view! Such a relaxing and fun experience! Highly recommended!

LikedStunning beachfront location with spacious rooms overlooking the gorgeous pool and ocean. The staff were excellent and the food outstanding. We loved the breakfast each morning and the fresh seafood at dinner was a treat.
LikedThe resort was well maintained and the staff very responsive. Kavi, the manager catered to our every need and ensured we were comfortable and helped us with local information, rides etc.
LikedFood was generally well above average. I didn't have many meals here du to my schedule, but the few times I did, I was more than simply pleased. given the location it is important that the selections are few and more the reason to have good food, and this spot checks that box. Typical Sri Lankan staff with overwhelming kindness, hospitality and generosity with their always friendly and smiling kind hearts. I always evaluate a place of hospitality by how management works out any shortcomings. While there was practically none that was noteworthy, even the slightest issues were addressed fast and efficiently.
DislikedI am not going to nitpick - frankly I see nothing worthy of a comment that qualifies as something I "didn't like"!
LikedSooooo good and stylish place! I regret I did not stay more days here.. Ocean in 1 step Stylish rooms/villas! Very polite and professional employees!!! Yoga every morning for freee and very good! And sooooo good chef and quisine!!!!!!!

LikedOur stay at Lankavatara Ocean Retreat was absolutely wonderful. The location is breathtaking, with a beautiful private beach and stunning ocean views that create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Their genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcome. The food was delicious, especially the fresh seafood and breakfast, and the peaceful surroundings made it easy to completely unwind. Whether relaxing by the pool, enjoying the beach, or watching the sunset, every moment was special. If you’re looking for a quiet luxury retreat in Sri Lanka with outstanding service and a beautiful setting, I highly recommend Lankavatara Ocean Retreat. We would definitely love to return!
