LikedThe staff were very welcoming and friendly, and made us feel at home. The design of the hotel is beautiful and well thought out, it made sitting in the lobby feel like a nice evening out. The breakfast was truly delicious, one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever eaten! Location was great as the area felt like you were living amongst locals but not too far away from the main areas, very quick on the metro but we walked since the neighbourhood itself was full of lovely independent shops and beautiful architecture.

DislikedOur particular room on the top floor was quite small. The sink was difficult to use at times due to the size and the hairdryer wasn’t great.

LikedAmazing breakfast - one of the best I had in any European city. Nicely decorated lobby with very good space to sit and hang. Very helpful staff.

DislikedSmall rooms are extremely small and there was a height issue for me when entering/leaving the bathroom but I was able to move to a larger room with a perfect bathroom.

LikedWhen I am in Stockholm, I always try to stay at Hotel Ruth. It is an independent hotel and managed with great enthusiasm and attention to detail. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, it is a personalized experience. I like that the rooms are not over renovated, but retain their charm, while still being comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of fresh, home-made stuff. One can also hang out at night in the cozy bar or eat at their restaurant. This was my fourth stay, and hopefully, not my last.

LikedWe had a great stay at Hotel Ruth. The whole family was really happy, the breakfast was fantastic, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the warm, stylish ambience, which made the hotel feel really welcoming and relaxing. The location is excellent and made it easy to explore the city. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, but overall we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.
