LikedMy daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Stockholm Stadshotell. The ladies at reception were wonderful & welcoming, I’d admired some flowers that they had picked from their garden when we checked in and they placed a vase of them in our room, nice touch. Beautifully designed and elegant, the quality of materials is exceptional. The Bar is a little gem, breakfast is perfect and the sauna is superb. We compared the bed to sinking into a pavlova, just so comfortable! Try the Oscar cake in the bar ( but share )

DislikedThe quality of the towels are sumptuous but it would be wonderful if the hand towels are one size bigger as they aren’t large enough to ‘turban’ wet hair after a shower .. women with long hair will understand!

LikedA beautiful hotel with incredibly comfortable beds, calm interiors and understated Scandinavian luxury. The staff are very friendly, and the à-la-carte food is excellent. Its location in Södermalm offers the ultimate Stockholm experience, away from the main tourist crowds.

DislikedFor a hotel in this price range, we really missed a few extras, such as coffee and tea in the room or a small daily treat. These details would have made the experience truly complete.

LikedBeautiful building modernised and decorated very tastefully. The staff were lovely. Food very good too. Sauna was a highlight.
