Matterhorn FOCUS Design Hotel

LikedOur room (Dom) was beautiful with views of the Matterhorn. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the spa, breakfast, quality of furnishings, comfort etc were exceptional. If staying in Zermatt you won't be disappointed with this beautiful hotel.

LikedAmazing place, super friendly staff, nice spa, location a bit far from the center but next to the matterhorn express gondola (the hotel offers shuttle from/to town), welcome drink and some food 3-6pm, comfy bed, great breakfast, fruit available 24/7. They arranged everything for our family with a baby... baby cat and even a small baby-dressing- gown for the spa!

LikedWhat a fantastic hotel! The pick-up/drop-off service was convenient and the welcome drink on arrival was just what we needed after a long journey. The staff were all so welcoming and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and they put a lot of thought into making our stay memorable, even leaving three small robes and slipper sets for our children to wear to the pool, which made their day. The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful and the room was comfortable, stylish, well-appointed and spotless. The breakfast was excellent, with loads of choice, all of it delicious, as was the complimentary afternoon tea. The pool was perfect for our three kids to play in but also great for relaxing in if you're child-free. The location was also great, with the cable car and a lovely Italian restaurant about a minute's walk away, and Zermatt centre a pleasant 10 min stroll down the hill. We loved our stay and were very sad not to stay longer. We will be back.

DislikedWe didn't mind but it's worth noting that the hotel does not offer a lunch or dinner service, only breakfast and a complimentary afternoon tea which were both excellent.

LikedSuper modern. Stunning Matterhorn view from veranda. Very cozy pool and sauna. Staff were very helpful and while stay became perfect which made us to think we are going to stay again at FOCUS.

DislikedI wish we could have been notified about the shuttle service ahead of time. If we had been, we did not have to walk from the station.
