LikedGreat location, and compared to Grace Bay where there were lots of construction work, Long Bay was quiet and beautiful. We were choosing between Ritz Carlton and The Shore Club and we were very happy that we chose The Shore. It has character and much more Caribbean feel than many of the other resorts including Ritz which felt like any beach resort in any location.

DislikedThe service is slow, but you just have to get used to it since many places are the same. Irritating though that you have to remind of things several times.

LikedThe hotel is amazing and its location is great if you are looking for a quite spot on the island. Being located away from the main tourist strip of Grace Bay means it is quite compared to other hotels. Food at the restaurants was nice, especially Sui-Ren, highly recommend.

DislikedMy biggest issue with this hotel was the staff. Quite frankly, the vast majority (not all) were rude and it was a chore when you asked anything of them. When you are paying £1,200 a night you expect better. For that reason, as nice as the hotel was and how much we loved our stay, I would likely choose a different hotel. Although breakfast was included, I was amazed and shocked that the hotel wanted to charge me over $10 for a cappuccino as this is not included, absolutely ridiculous!

LikedLocation was great. Food, service(especially housekeeping), accessibility, the not so crowded beach, and the view from the beach were top notch. Plenty of restaurants with different menus and different tastes. Nothing sketchy about it. My wife and I felt safe at all times.

DislikedOnly thing is the junior suite ocean view had tall trees blocking some of the view to the beach from the balcony. I don’t have much negativity to say. Everything was also crazy expensive but that’s to be expected going to an island off by itself where everything has to be imported. 20$ pink lemonades and 2 to 3 hundred dollar suppers every time. But if u want cheap and normal go to destin.
