“Excellent stay for leisure, hiking in the area and closing the day in luxury.”
LikedAmazing rural location, wonderful building and surroundings. Lots of public spaces in the manor - pool room, library, garden viewing rooms and balconies. The cocktail bar is a real Experimental experience - great cocktail menu, wonderful selection of spirits and very knowledgeable mixologist. The crackling fireplaces everywhere are a real treat in winter. Breakfast is great - all options available (except fresh vegetables...). Dinner at the restaurant is a real high-end experience.

LikedI thought the dinner options were delicious and the hotel was in beautiful surroundings. The spa and heated pool was excellent.
DislikedThe room had no coat hooks and there were no proper lunch options. Also different pillow options would have been nice as they were all fairly large and puffed up.
“Absolutely dreamy!”
LikedIt was perfect, we stayed for three nights as a honey/baby moon treat and we never wanted to leave. The SPA, the restaurant/bar and the grounds were all fantastic. The staff was also extra lovely, they welcomed us and made us feel special. I highly recommend it.
DislikedThe only thing I did not love was the afternoon tea, for some reason it took them 45 minutes to serve it to us and I was not feeling well at that point (being pregnant I needed to eat sooner that day). It also had a gratuity that I didn’t expect on top of the rate.

LikedIt was a dream. I was here four days for my honeymoon between time in London and the south of France. This was hands down the best portion of our trip. The property and grounds are immaculate. You literally feel like you’re walking through a fairytale. The staff was kind, professional, and eager to make our stay special. The food in the restaurant was delicious, the bar and bartenders were fantastic, and the spa was jaw-dropping. I felt it was also fairly priced, and they didn’t try to nickel-and-dime you at every corner like some hotels do. I couldn’t recommend Cowley Manor enough.
DislikedBeing 25-45 minutes from other Cotswold towns, it would have been nice if Cowley provided a shuttle service of some kind to drop guests off and pick them up later for at least one location. Without this, we had to taxi around to see nearby towns which got expensive quickly.
