LikedLoved the hospitality with the little touches- shortbread, chocolate, fruit, slippers. Amazing venue and lovely food!
DislikedThe weather was rainy and would have been nice to have more indoor facilities like a pool/ spa or gym.

LikedFrom the time we arrived , we were made to feel most welcome and nothing was too much trouble , the whole stay was a delightful experience… beautiful room Very clean , nice toiletries, nice little touches , we came back to out room after dinner to find the bed covers turned down , curtains drawn slippers left out and sweets on the pillow .. Breakfast was amazing , porridge made exactly how I like it , lots of choice
LikedIt is a lovely hotel, beautifully decorated and furnished but also very comfortable. The staff made us feel very welcome and were attentive without being overbearing, We really enjoyed spending time in the bar and drawing room. The food served in the Garden restaurant was excellent. Our dog was also made very welcome and she particularly liked the lovely grounds.
LikedUnderstated luxury…..obvs a great going business with plenty of guests but kept an overall feel of calm & quiet. Loads of staff which makes a change from so many places these days....the Murray’s clearly providing strong local employment support!! Well done.
DislikedA couple of modest sized tables in bedroom & bathroom to put stuff on wouldn’t go amiss!!
LikedThe restaurant was excellent, great attention to detail, friendly staff and the food was exquisite. The grounds were beautiful, we took a gentle stroll and enjoyed the tranquil scenery. The room was immaculate, comfy and had all the mod cons to make it feel like a home away from home.
DislikedThe weather, but its Scotland, in the middle of winter and last time I checked the hotel can't control that. Wrap up warm, and enjoy the surroundings.
