Dislikednothing I can think of
LikedLovely courtyard, beautiful room, friendly staff, great location!
LikedExcellent location On a very animated part of the city but e Yet the rooms are quiet Cool roof top Very large rooms
DislikedNothing but if driving plan on using their valet services because parking is limited
LikedIt is a very nice hotel, maybe the nicest I have stayed in. Great location on King St. and nice amenities like a kitchen, full size fridge, sofa, amazing bed, and washer and dryer.
DislikedI was on the fourth floor and there is a lounge on the fifth floor above my room and the rooms near me. There was some noise that was never loud but it was a little noticeable. The lounge closes around 10pm and all was quiet by 11:00pm.
LikedExcellent location off of kings street and very friendly staff. Room was gorgeous and very spacious.
Dislikedit was a little off putting in the afternoon time to be stopped by an older gentlemen working the door asking if I was a guest or not
LikedGreat hotel stay! The staff, from the front desk to the valet, were welcoming, friendly, and professional. Our room was beautifully decorated, spotless, and surprisingly well-appointed, with a mini kitchenette and a washer and dryer discreetly tucked away. I highly recommend booking a room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. It adds to the charm of the hotel and extends your living space outdoors, making the room feel even more inviting and spacious. I would absolutely recommend The Nickel Hotel and have already done so. I'll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Charleston.
LikedAbsolutely beautiful hotel. Staff was amazing and valet was wonderful as well.
DislikedBeware that there is a $50 a night parking fee that wasn’t disclosed until after booking.
LikedLoved our stay at the Nickel. Excellent staff. Literally everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful. The room was spotless. The windows were huge and let in lots of light. Mattress was super comfortable (would love to know the name of the brand). Location was great for us; it's about a 20–25-minute walk to the Charleston City Market.
DislikedOne minor criticism; no sheers on the windows. Not a major issue, just would have been nice to have.
