LikedBeautiful location near Truckee and not too far from Tahoe. I liked the architecture style and the buildings as well as the modern furnishings and amenities, especially the nice piece of chocolate which they gave for the spa / gym code. Nice tea selection in the rooms.
DislikedThe sauna was a little far and not very warm. But it was nice to have. The front desk woman was a having a bad day but over all, everyone was otherwise pleasant.
LikedThe air, the friendly staff, the grounds, the location... ALL excellent.
DislikedI can't think of anything we didn't like. The pocket door did not latch/lock from the inside of the bathroom... not a big deal for husband and wife, but for other guests, you should fix it. Bldg. 1, Room 115.
LikedGreat location in Truckee! Plus, I like the boutique feel and the practical modern set up and amenities, and the fact that they are dog friendly.
DislikedOnly thing I would suggest is that the lower level rooms that look out over the central common area should have top down blinds so that the rooms are able to have both natural light and privacy.
LikedJaucci. Room is clean and bright sunlight and no odor. Bath tub with good water flow. Beds are not too soft and good. Wall plugs in every corner.
DislikedProvide microwave will be better but not necessary.
