DislikedThey allow smoking in the restaurant and in the hallway between the art deco building and the pool. The music is bumping in the restaurant till midnight on weekends. So, if you’re with kids or prefer silence — consider the new beachfront building.

LikedThe staff at Setai impressed us from the moment we arrived. The front desk employees were exceptional, demonstrating attentiveness and genuine warmth that truly enhanced our experience. My husband formed strong connections with the staff and didn't want to leave. We will definitely return to Setai, not just for its stunning beauty, but also for the lasting relationships we built with the staff. Thank you to the entire Setai team for creating such a memorable stay for us.

“It was an awesome experience worthy to celebrate my fiance's birthday!!”
LikedThe welcome was exceptional. The desk clerk showed us to the room and she gave us a real life tour....awesome plus she gave my fiance a personal birthday welcome from Setai...the bell hops were courteous and welcoming. The ROOM WAS SPOTLESS and I loved the partial ocean view. Breakfast had a wide variety. Housekeeping, front desk and the floor manager were warm and responsive to any issue. They had a birthday champagne welcome for my fiance in the room and also at breakfast. They suggested Casa Tua for the birthday dinner and made a reservation for me...I would go back RIGHT NOW!!!
DislikedJust a few things if I want to be hypercritical and to nitpick 1. There were a few small flies in the buffet area- which is hard to control because its food which attracts flies 2. Walking through the restaurant area to get to the beach/spa/gym esp on the Sunday - I felt cute since other attendees were well-dressed for Sunday brunch. I wasn't too sure how to navigate those areas without going way outside the hotel 3. The necessary nearby construction- sounds of drills were heard in the breakfast hall, but earplugs were available at the pool to block this out if you were chilling at the pool
