The Celestine New Orleans reviews
“Good hotel, comfortable and well located.”
LikedComfortable room, super location - we essentially walked to wherever we wanted to go - good breakfast (very good tempura station, with tempura being made fresh). We were greeted quite elaborately on arrival. The staff were helpful in arranging restaurant reservations. Took the hotel shuttle to the train station to catch our airport bus to Itami airport - that was convenient. Did not use the bath and other facilities that the hotel advertised, so cannot comment about those. The hotel was 'busier' than others we have stayed at - a lot of tourists.
Dislikedwifi drifted quite a bit and it seemed necessary to tunr on and off the wifi switch on the phone and computer to captue the signal.
“Wonderful experience! Stay heee!”
LikedLovely property and amenities. Wonderful rooms and good value-excellent location! Onsen included💜
DislikedNot a thing!
“Perfect hotel”
LikedAmazing stuff. Great location for the ones who want to be close enough to the center but in an authentic and quieter location
“The staff were exceptional.”
LikedThe property and rooms were lovely and beautifully maintained.
“Great little hotel in Gion”
LikedWe really liked our stay at the Hotel Celestine…the location was perfect. Down a quiet street but easily walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. We also used the local train to explore Kyoto and took a quick cab to/from the train station (they do have a shuttle but we arrived late at night and left early in the morning outside of its operational time). The public Onsen was really nice, very clean and not very busy, in fact I had it all to myself. We did have the breakfast one morning and it was fantastic. A lot of food with a huge variety of Japanese and Western cuisine. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room small but nice and clean - it had everything we needed.
“The perfect Kyoto retreat - beautiful, peaceful, thoughtful, and filled with genuine warmth ❤️”
LikedA place that makes your Kyoto experience perfect. It is like a serene cradle to return to after a long day full of new experiences. Every detail is thought through. Great breakfast. Beautiful onsen to relax. And the staff is amazing and very personable. Yuka H. stole our hearts ❤️ :)
DislikedNo such thing.
“beautiful, serene, fantastic location”
Likedbed was firm and great! location was phenomenal and central to everything but not too loud close to the Kyoto city center. the spa was a lovely bonus.
Dislikedthe guest lounge could be improved with more snacks and food, felt kind of like an afterthought space.
