“Fantastic hotel, will return.”

LikedWe were very impressed by the hotel, including the pre-check in options, which we took advantage of a floral arrangement. The room was great, with wonderful tile work in the bathroom and great shower products and all necessary toiletries available. Staff was kind, courteous and attentive.

LikedStaff great, free newspapers, chic decor, good bath products and sheets and mattresses, good sized closet/ room( for NYC). Good location in LES though LES is a bit grungy

DislikedRoom too dark , hard to read at night even with all the lights on. Food at restaurant ( only had dinner) average but maybe I ordered wrong.

“If you want a comfortable place that’s right in the think of it but still feels like an oasis, the Ludlow would always…”

LikedThe atmosphere and vibe were great. I loved that it was a place people came to hang, work, grab a drink in the lounge area but kept seats available for hotel guests. The room was very comfortable and spacious for an nyc hotel. The hotel had an amazing location and provided the experience we were looking for!

DislikedI was a little surprised that I could hear other guests moving around in their room. The elevator wait times could be annoying at times

“The Ludlow is our new lower east side home away from home”

LikedWe used to stay at The Marlton over and over when our kids went to NYU. Now they’ve moved east (our daughter is in Brooklyn and our son in lower east side) The Ludlow feels so very similar and familiar to the Marlton vibe in all the good ways. So- we’re super happy customers :) Will def be staying here again

DislikedTiny note- wish the Nespresso was outside the closet area. Tho of course- I know it’s all about making the most of space ;)

“Fantastic”

LikedThis is a gorgeous boutique hotel that feels like high end designers decorated the place, including the rooms.,They have a friendly front desk staff and nice products in the room (like curated shampoo,,conditioner and lotion, etc). It’s a great location on the lower east side, near tons of chic boutiques and little restaurants etc. very close to the village as well.

DislikedThe restaurant, Dirty French, doesn’t match the hotel in either the taste and quality of the food or the service. The woman who made my latte two mornings in a row was very blunt and not friendly. She clearly didn’t want to go above and beyond for customer service and had a snotty attitude. That is at direct odds with with the very friendly front desk staff. I ended up going down the street for coffee for the rest of my stay (5 nights) just to avoid this woman because it’s nice to be greeted with a smile and a “sure!” In the morning.

“The Ludlow is in the chill, cool vibe part of town!”

LikedThe location can't be beat...such a great area with great restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is cute. Has a retro 1920s feel. The windows open, but the room is nice and quiet once the windows are closed. Loved the huge, deep tub!! We have stayed here several times through the years. Friendly staff. Cozy lobby and lounge. Great restaurant in the hotel. Super cute bar next door called Revival. Lots of breakfast places in walking distance too.

DislikedThe AC needed to be able to go down one more notch for better cooling. It said 65°, but would've been perfect a couple degrees lower. The bed was comfortable! Pillows could've been firmer.
