“Amazing location, wonderful staff”

LikedThe location and character of the property was perfect. Every space was spacious which felt very grand.
DislikedThe room lighting was very poor, however, the large windows made up for the lack of daylight in the room. The staff serving breakfast do not write down your food request so there is alot of returns to kitchen. That said the food is lovely and sitting on the deck is a wonderful place to enjoy your breakfast. These are only comments and not to defer from a lovely experience at this special hotel.

DislikedOld part of the hotel has super tight rooms and even smaller bathrooms. At time it was hard to navigate between luggage and family members.

LikedLove the location with other restaurants and shopping close by. The restaurants and the staff are amazing! We enjoyed a beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets!
“Perfection as always”
LikedThis is a property I know very well, we stayed at the Royal Hawaiian this last time for 14 days. The service by all of the staff is always top notch. The property is gorgeous and the location is prime. We always opt for the original rooms bc they are so charming. The best part about this property, is that if any issues arise, they handle each with class and make sure the customer is satisfied. The last stay, we had a few items come up and Ryan at the front desk, Ryan the manager, both in person, and John Swanson the Director of Operations, via email, all made us feel very valued as customers.
DislikedThe new-ish microwave situation. The room keys should open the room they’re in, or they should provide them in each suite/room. They said this was due to not overcrowding the microwave room, but we were there each day for the 14 days and never saw even one other person in there- even at lunch each day.
