“Charming small hotel with great amenities in a perfect location.”

LikedThe location was wonderful in an area full of restaurants and beautiful architecture. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit. The hotel itself used to be a women’s guild house. The rooms were very beautiful with many amenities and rich furnishings to make your stay there comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice, especially the included robes. There was even a small lounge room in the hotel to relax in. The communications with the hotel were great and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in a hotel with character and history.

“Highly recommended. Beautiful building, Wood is hand carved throughout.”

LikedA little hiccup with my room assignment at arrival but resolved. Text inquires are responded within minutes if not sooner. It feels like walking onto the early 20th century when entering. Excellent and safe location. My "go to" spot when visiting Philadelphia.

LikedI had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful boutique historic hotel in Philadelphia. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm, welcoming staff and the incredible attention to detail throughout the property. The hotel perfectly blends historic charm with comfort and elegance. Every space was thoughtfully designed, creating a unique atmosphere that made the stay feel truly special. You can tell that a lot of care goes into every detail. The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of the city, with convenient parking, making it easy to explore Philadelphia on foot. What made the experience exceptional was the outstanding hospitality. Every team member I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making guests feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Philadelphia. It was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve had, and I can’t wait to return!

“Nice place to stay in Philadelphia”

LikedHistoric place, amazing, space rooms and great shower. They have book to read about you room!

DislikedOurs was at the entrance of the building so we heard everything - how everybody was entering and leaving. Fortunately it was silent after 8-9pm. Also we had to store our luggage on 3rd floor just to have it back to 1st floor to our room. Thankfully we didn’t have to store it after our stay too. Would be much more convenient to store it on 1st floor (there is no elevator)

“The Alice room was the perfect space for me and my 2 friends to share a night. It was a great location”

LikedThe hotel was beautifully decorated and comfortable. I appreciated the lounge and the closets to store luggage. I thought my room (Alice) was very spacious.

DislikedI had a tiny problem getting a working code for the luggage closet, but luckily someone was available to open it for me.

“Awesome experience”

LikedOne of the coolest hotels I've stayed, with historical vibe AND mordern setups, as well as awesome background stories. It feels like we're staying in a museum. The room is incredibly clean and well maintained. We all loved this place.

DislikedThere's no front desk or staff so it took us a while to figure out everything, including getting into the room. Also lack of elevator is understandable yet inconvenient.
