Fairmont Grand Del Mar

LikedGreat resort and overall property! The staff was very nice and responsive. Their primary restaurant Amaya had a tasty breakfast. Beautiful landscaping with a lot of activities for everyone.

DislikedWe ordered room service and the chocolate strawberries and charcuterie board were great! We later ordered dinner (salmon and the smash burger). The salmon entree was very salty and the smash burger was not cooked well. Suggest you to go the restaurant for dining. We also had an issue with the wine opener they provided but they immediately sent up someone to replace the opener and stayed to open the bottle for us. 😊

LikedAmazing. Beautiful property. Room was very spacious and they accommodated for everything. Staff is excellent

LikedOutstanding accommodations, staff, customer service, food, and although it is expensive… It exceeded our expectations and made my daughter's 50th birthday celebration a memorable occasion! It may be the finest hotel that we have stayed at over the years and we really appreciate the service that we received. Thank you.

LikedEverything - pristine landscaping, building is perfect, pool is fantastic.

LikedThis place is awesome! Staff is super cool, amenities are top notch! Thank you!

LikedI love being surrounded by greenery and getting to be able to participate in feeding the horses... and hike on premises. The beds are also very comfy.

DislikedThe room that we stayed in had stains in the carpet and some of the furniture was dated. I wish I would have maybe upgraded the room to get a better view but the first time we came we had a great view and didn't think to upgrade. All together it is a nice place to stay but not sure if it's worth the price.
