LikedWe loved the resort! Great for couples and families. Pools are beautiful and the resort is very clean. Loved the art deco theme throughout. Easy access to Hamilton. We went to the private beach on bus and that was our favorite day! Gorgeous beach. Incredible service. Friendly staff. WE FOUND THE STAFF TO BE SO FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATION. MY WIFE DID A NUMBER OF POSITIVE REVIEWS DURING OUR STAY.
DislikedI thought it was expensive to stay there. More than what we'd normally pay but it was our 30th anniversary. Overall, I did feel it was worth it for a special occasion.

LikedIt’s an amazing view. There’s a Pool for adults. A separate Infinity pool are wonderful. Staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Private beach club a jittney ride away. We go every July. Will go again next year. It’s not cheap. But nothing is in Bermuda.
DislikedPool menu comes from the 1609 restaurant. It’s a Mexican restaurant which is fine. But for sitting around the pool during the day there are no regular sandwich items on there. It’s still all Mexican food. Wish they would consider a regular menu for the pool.

LikedThis was an unexpected upgrade from a VRBO that was too far from the RBYC after the Newport to Bermuda Race, the location was excellent.
DislikedWe were exhausted from the 4-days at sea and hoping for an early check-in to a double bedroom but instead got a king suite with a couch. The upgrade was greatly appreciated.

LikedFacilities are top notch - everything you would expect in a luxury resort hotel. We ate in three of their four restaurant facilities, including the one at the beach (every restaurant but the Intrepid). Food and drink was uniformly delicious.
DislikedFirst day check-in was rocky. I had called two days before to confirm a 27 April check-in and advise it was the day of our 41st wedding anniversary. I advised I expected to arrive at 3PM local time and arranged for a charcuterie board and made reservations at the Intrepid for 6 PM, When we arrived at around three, the room wasn't ready. We waited until normal check-in at 4 PM, the room still wasn't ready, and the reason given was the charcuterie board. We asked to cancel both the charcuterie board and the Intrepid reservation and finally got into our room about 4:20. We ate at the Crown and Anchor (delicious) and retired to our room. The charcuterie board showed up at 8PM. One additional item, the speaker on the room phone was inoperable and had to be replaced.
