LikedI like how the whole staff treated me. Bruno the bar tender was very nice and all the staff from the reception. Good professionals, very kind and polite.
DislikedThe bathroom had a bad smell, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The bedroom was too cold and we couldn't adjust the temperature

DislikedThe gym was closed to refurbishment and I was never advised about it prior to booking. They allowed us to use the one at the partner hotel in front of ours though not ideal . Also, didn’t like the bedding’s…not enough ! There was a what it seemed to be a blanket in the cabinet badly wrapped on a bag or something but it didn’t look great. We were also waken by someone ringing our loud bell to deliver some food 2am , though we never ordered anything.
LikedI would suggest anyone to purchase breakfast when booking the hotel through Booking.com. I did not purchase a day and it cost me a lot more. The breakfast had a large variety, including fruits and vegetarian dishes. The bar at the pool had great drinks. I enjoyed walking to the beach. The hotel had a great system to get towels. We stayed right in front of the hotel. It was easy access. The gym was small, but had a great view. I am returning next year and I am planning to stay in the same hotel.
DislikedThe pool was not as clean as I expected. I know that it was really hot, and there was a massive amount of people using the pool. Although it was not that cleaned, it still nice to use in the afternoon. They had a great outdoor shower to refresh. Also, I did not like as much was the extra bed that I requested when I booked the room. The room was ample and accommodate three people very well. However, the single bed was not as comfortable as the King bed.
LikedGreat location, few steps to the beach. Comfortable beds and good room size. Excellent and varied breakfast.
DislikedThe A/C is loud, needs repair or modernization. Theres is no tea or coffee maker in the room. For a 5 star hotel that is a shame.

DislikedYou need to pre authorize on check-in to buy drinks and other stuffs. Dont ask for forks, it’a very expansive.
LikedLocation in a quiet zone in Barra do Tijuca. Room was really nice and big enough for the three of us. Breakfast was great with a lot of options.
DislikedWould loved to have a coffee machine in the room or coffee available. We booked a trip to Angra from the hotel and it costs us the double (same exact bus/lunch/boat) than other passengers taking the same!
