LikedTudo muito bom, mas estacionamento e café da manhã tiveram que ser pagos à parte, o que não foi problema, mas poderiam ter incluído tudo na reserva.

“Excellent hotel with great service, beautiful ocean views, and a very comfortable stay, highly recommended.”

LikedEverything was excellent. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well organized. The location in Rio de Janeiro was perfect, with a beautiful ocean view and easy access to the beach. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the overall experience.

DislikedNothing to complain about. Everything met our expectations and made our stay very pleasant.

LikedI liked the location, just one block away from the Barra de Tijuca beach. Breakfast was good but not exceptional; the bathroom and shower very nice.

DislikedWe arrived at 11 AM, and the check-in time was 3 PM. We had to wait until 4 PM to finally make the chec-in waiting in line for more than half an hour. They provide the rooms with a pair of glasses, I had to ask twice to have clean ones sent to my room after two days of seeing the same dirty ones unchanged. The TV remote was broken, I asked for a replacement three times, and they sent me the wrong model. Finally, at the fourth try they sent the right one. The electric power was cut and restored a few minutes later every day of our stay. The staff seemed to make the minimum possible effort, responding only after several requests.

“A nice and tidy hotel located a 1-minute walk from the beach”

LikedThe location is the biggest plus of this hotel. It is a minute walk from the Barra da Tijuca beach, a beautiful and clean beach with many activity options. The staff is available 24/7, and they were friendly and very professional. My room was comfortable, and the bathroom has a very nice shower. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant being open in the evening is very convenient.

DislikedIn my opinion, the hotel is slightly overpriced since its rooms are just okay, not exceptional. The price is mainly because of the location. Moreover, I booked a standard double room, but instead got a room with 3 twin beds. Since I was traveling alone, more than half of my room was wasted space.

“Very good hotel, friendly staff, amazing location.”

LikedThe room was spacious. The pillows were great. I loved the shower, the view from the terrace, and the breakfast options. It was a couple of blocks from the beach, so very convenient.

DislikedI didn´t like that they wanted to charge me for using cutlery from the hotel, since the food delivery service didn´t bring. It was not the value in itself but the fact that it could easily be complimentary, given what you´re already paying for the room. We also tried to get an adapter for a friend, and they only accepted cash, which pretty much no one in Brazil carries these days.

“Unbeatable spot: steps from beach, dining, and the conference.”

LikedI stayed at the Windsor Tower Hotel in Barra de Tijuca for a conference in late May and had a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable—right across the street from the convention center, just one block from the beach, and within walking distance of several restaurants. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with professional and helpful staff. Everything ran smoothly, and I would gladly return for future conferences.
